Today at school the kids were to dress like a "storybook character". Tara is Fancy Nancy and Levi is Lucas from the Ant Bully book. This was not considered Halloween dress up at school but they still had a parade and class parties etc. They had to bring a book to prove that their costume really was from a book and not just any fun costume that they could come up with. The kids liked the idea that they got to wear a different costume at night than during the day.

I forgot you had started a blog and then was excited when I remembered. Tara makes a great Fancy Nancy. Pretty funny how in Texas the schools can't talk about Halloween at all but here they have full blown Halloween parades and parties.
